yesterday I was the first time at a tournament of the BSC Büdlich.
The weather was top notch.
It had been snowing all day long but we had really nice sunshine. It was very pleasant, although quite cold!
It was a small tournament with about 60 participants, with many familiar faces.
compliment the Büdlich. It has (except on points with me) to really missing anything!
The team was super friendly. The food
was very good, it was warm mulled wine, the barbecue was under continuous fire ... really no outstanding requests, except that I have come to nichht more to taste the chili, because after the shooting there was nothing more of it.
The Einschiessscheiben was amazing!
not as is usual, the usual 2-3
discs, but about a total of 10 different possibilities to make warm, washers and animals that were at different distances. I was back on the road with my father ... his start was about a lot more promising than mine ... (I do the red arrows, the other my father)
pity that it was the worst event that I 've shot since I was still short "career"!
There were two rounds of 15 animals.
The first round was a 3-arrow-round, then a special Hunter Round. And here comes
the only, but important shortcoming of the event:
The Hunter-round had a special stage, whereby the second round was more fortunately shooting!
Kill -> 20 points
wound -> - 10 points
addition -> 0 point (!!!)
to work with negative, a very cool idea, but I would urge a consistent and de people who shoot next to it, please also dnn example -20 points!
Selbsttverständlich I am to blame if I do not meet the kill (the targets were also compared to other Hunter rounds made easier), but that many who have not made it technically points pulled me over ... bad idea !
had in the first round I have 202 points, with 15 animals not be a world champion, but oh well .... from the second round I got to 40 points, although I have only shot one next to it, but only 6 kills .

actually 200 points ... in fact ... and when I think about how close the wound results were ... I would have better my arrows shot into his own feet ...
The most annoying was that people came to meet one who had his chest puffed up with pride because, with 6 or 7 times "0" in the Hunter round had more points than me ...
The best shot was on a bison, which was placed about 50-60Meter, over a sink.
... but a nice kick is sometimes "kill" shot!
Actually a nice tournament, but even though it is just about the fun ... the second half I was very frustrated - Actually a shame!

So in conclusion: a really nice tournament, but guys - this was nothing with the points! And then no more than comfort eating chili ... :-)
